People of Poblenou: Reflections on Community Engagement

During the time of our stay in the neighbourhood we have dabbled in numerous methodologies for community engagement. From living in the area and daily frequenting its streets, to inviting members of the community to our weekly tutorials and reviews.

In our first week here, we hoped to deepen our understanding of the demographics in different key zones across the neighbourhood, identifying the distinctive characteristics of these areas.

Through direct community engagement (with the generous support of Raquel), we were able to paint a picture of the lives of the people who live and work in Poblenou. And through time-lapsed videos we observed the levels of activity and the intangible street life in these areas.
