Our work focuses on the horizontal and collaborative processes of urban regeneration, resulting in our strategy for resilience for the area. We have discussed in detail, a definitive and cohesive explanation of the word heritage, understanding the importance of place identity and have discussed at length the importance of balance, distribution and flexibility. Our research follows a holistic urban research approach to identify the distribution of infrastructure, facilities, and public spaces throughout the neighborhood.

Forming a consolidated neighbourhood centred around balance, the multiscaler approach will unify both new development and organic growth, creating parallel relationships between analysis and interventions at the 3 scales (block/cluster/community). The residential and commercial units at block scale should form a cluster, gravitating to a neighbourhood centres comprising of convenience shops, core education etc. We are interested in integrating these social clusters at the confluence of existing heritage assets, reinforced by the interplay of tangible and intangible, or physical and non-physical and married with the positive strategies of the 22@ master plan. As a result the wider demographic of stakeholders will be mobilised to develop a resilient urban strategy. New networks between clusters are proposed to bridge the redevelopment of the Eix Pere IV, establishing the axis as a integral community centre, including facilities such as police stations and community centres, or 'core economies'. In this way, we open the circle of everyday life within a cluster and ensure spontaneous social interactions which drive the block, cluster and Pere IV consistently.

Our transitional conclusion has not been to prescribe a set of imposed gentrified programs, but to reestablish the district's infrastructure. By redistributing the hierarchy of infrastructure, we can fracture the isolated mono-cultures and create new polycultures which dilute the buffer zones spanning new development areas and that of the existing, focusing on connecting (bridges) and restoring balance (facilities) in Poblenou.
