Hubbub

Instead of heading to the studio to work, this morning we opted for a change of scene and took our laptops and sketch books to a co-working 'Hub' space near to La Rambla del Poblenou. Fuelled by fresh croissants and café con leche, we were able to comfortably inhabit the space, sprawling our books and belongings across the large wooden benches.

The space had a great atmosphere: laid back yet with a gentle hubbub of activity and good tunes in the background, perfect for getting into the design mindset and a nice alternative to the studio. We weren't the only ones who found it a great place to work, with many of the tables occupied by macbooks, scribbling students and even a business meeting huddled in the squashy chairs. I have a feeling we will be back!
