Despite working on site for the last week, today we got to go behind the scenes with a local resident and the co-ordinator of the Save Can Ricart Platform. Infact, his apartment block faces onto the site so we were fortunate to get a bird's eye view of the site. The derlict nature of the majority of the existing historic buildings was immediately apparent!

It gave us a impressive perspective of the site and made us realise how very large the site was. We all immediately turned to Fede to request exactly how large our student project site was and even if we could see the boundaries from our view point! The scale of our projects was starting to sink in, even after spending three months exploring the entire district of Poblenou. So to take our minds off our projects for a while, we decided to take an extended unit photo with our ETSAB/Taula/SCRiP friends and headed off to la Rambla de Poblenou for a great Menu el Dia...
